Speaking of little cars, here comes the Zastava Yugo Cars

As proof fans of that the Zastava Yugo Cars converged with other loyal followers in Belgrade Park. The gathering was a surprise not only because of the attendance but because of the colorful cars that greeted spectators considering that most of theses cars now sported candy-flavored hues.

Most of the Zastava Yugo Cars which showed up at the Park were restored and were repainted with their owners bonded by a common devotion to the Yugo. Even the earliest Yugo Fica model showed up at the place eliciting oohs and aahs from both audience and fellow owners.

The large attendance of Yugo lovers is expected to once again stir a demand for Zastava Yugo Cars. Who knows, you might find one of these Yugoslavian and Serbian cars in the internet so start looking now. No need to be a communist to start lining up for one as proven by these people.

  4. Well, from this post and some of the comments, it would seem that I have had the wrong impression of a Yugo. For I thought that all of the models were absolutely horrible. Hey, maybe that just came from the other car companies?

  5. I received the following from you via BlogCatalog ... "I visited your site. It is very nice. I had clicked on your ads. I hope you do the same. Please keep in touch"

I appreciate the visit and glad folks are clicking on my ADs. I'm quite impressed since I do not have any ads ... my site, www.theoldbarbershop.com is totally non-commercial and AD free.

However, since joining Blog Catalog, I have received several other messages that have been identical to yours.

I'm sure you and the others who have so done are well intending but I think you've all received bad advice from someone. When you send a canned message to attract traffic, try to make sure the message applies to your audience ... otherwise they'll think it's a sham for you can't click on Ads that don't exist ... at least, it's hard to do! My guess is that you would have realized that had you actually visited ... most folks do!

I guess that doesn't apply to everyone though ... with so many of you evidently having that same experience, maybe there's some other explanation!

We would love to have you really visit, tell us about yourself ... share a tall tale, funny story or two ... talk baseball, politics ... cars ... share recipes ... become friends ... real friends, at least to the extent you can without actually meeting!

You can even tell us how you clicked on our non-existent ads, participate in our polls ... write a post for us on any subject you choose ... the idea is to have fun and really make new friends ... chat with old ones too!

Whatever you do, always strive to be the best you can ... look folks square in the eye, even when you can't see them!

Forget the gimmics, just be yourself!

    Good Luck!
